Waterfalls

Though there are scores of small streams and falls, the Mookanamane falls (Abbi falls) has turned out a big hit among the nature lovers. Mookanamane Waterfalls is a short but broad and pretty falls in Sakleshpur. The falls are usually roaring and in full force between June and December. The Mookanamane waterfall is located 5km from our property.

 

 One can enjoy the sound of gushing waters hitting against the rocks and be mesmerized by this nature's gift throughout the day. Visitors can take pictures and even walk up to the waters just to relax.

Hill Climb

This hill provides a panoramic view of the small villages and Mallali waterfall. One can experience the thrill of climbing this mountain on

off-road jeeps.

Patla Betta

At a distance of 12 km from our homestay. Bisle Ghat is situated between Kukke Subrahmanya and Sakleshpur. It is one of the top adventurous spots in Karnataka and among the popular tourist places.

Bisle is part of Western Ghats and situated in the border of Hassan district and Dakshina Kannada district. It is a popular viewpoint where one can get beautiful and astonishing views of three mountain ranges including Kumara Parvatha, Pushpagiri, and Dodda Betta. The highlight of this point is that the view has a valley, with Giri River separating the beauty point and these mountain ranges. The forest department has erected a shelter here to sit and enjoy the view.

This trek is one of most famous treks in Karnataka among seasoned trekkers. Situated in the Hassan district, this railway trek is also known as Green route trek and is a situatied between Sakleshpur railway station and  Subramanya railway station.

​

This trek has its own unique experience. Walking on a track high up from the ground gives a breathtaking view of the river below. The tunnels give people a adventurous experience.

Tipu Sultan built the fort in 1792 at a time when he was establishing his sovereignty over Mysore, fighting against the British East India Company

​

The fort, as built and existing, is an eight-pointed star. The external walls of the fort have been built with granite stones and lime mortar while the interior buildings, which accommodate army barracks, armoury, stores and others.

Kaginahare View Point

Kaginhare view point is an incredible place to visit. It has a 360 degree view of mountains. One can even spot a small fort on one of the mountains.
